EduResearcher is a blog authored by Dr. Roxana Marachi, Professor of Education at San José State University where she teaches Educational Psychology in the Department of Teacher Education and Education Policy in the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership. Dr. Marachi’s current research interests are at the intersection of privatization and the technologization of education and public services.  She aims to strengthen systemic strategies for the prevention of data harms and to bridge research-to-practice gaps in the integration of emerging technologies in education. Marachi has served as education chair for the San José/Silicon Valley NAACP (2016-2021) and the CA/HI State NAACP (2019-2021), and is actively involved in local, state, and national efforts to strengthen and protect public education.
